1. Which user rights are needed
During the start of the program you get a message that either files can not be accessed or can not be locked.
Solution:
Please verify that the Key to Steel - Stahlschluessel 2010 user has the permission to read, write, create, change and delete in the Key to Steel - Stahlschluessel path located in the shared/public documents folder for all users if you use the local version.
(Pressing Strg+Shift+P while our application is running will prompt this path in a message box.)
If you use a network version the user additionally needs the above mentioned permissions on the server path of the Key to Steel - Stahlschluessel.
2. You have not received a licence-number
3. You do not have the possibility to leave the CD-ROM in the drive constantly
Solution:
Start the program Key to Steel - Stahlschluessel 2010, and then press simultaneously the keys Shift + Ctrl + K. The dialog "Disable CD-ROM check" will open.
Please note the "User ID", and send us the
online form containing all the requested information.
We will send you the CompanyKey by E-Mail.
Please insert it in the field below, called "Company Key".
4. Problems using Unattended Client Setup
Unfortunately the supplied documentation (Readme.htm) is faulty. To enable apropriate operation please use the following revised guideline.
Unattended Client Setup
This type of installation can only be performed from a server on which the program has previously been installed.
It allows client installation without any intermediate dialogue, i.e. the user is not required to enter any sort of input.
To do so you only have to start the setup with the option /S. Additionally you can set the following options:

Please note that:
no blanks are used before and after the = character!
the users require full access to the local program directory, the server directory and also read access to the server CD-ROM drive.
for all varieties of installation, the CD-ROM must be in the drive for the program to operate.
